Warner to Host After-Hours Concealed Carry Permit Event

March 29, 2019

HARRISBURG – State Rep. Ryan Warner (R-Fayette/Westmoreland) has announced an opportunity for Fayette County residents to obtain concealed carry permits for handguns after regular business hours.

Residents who cannot visit the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office to obtain or renew gun permits during regular hours can do so from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 4.

Sheriff’s office personnel will be available in Warner’s office within the Perryopolis borough building at 312 E. Independence St.

In addition to the issuing of permits, personnel on site will have information about Pennsylvania’s concealed-carry laws and the Castle Doctrine.

“Residents will be able to learn about their rights as gun owners and how laws affect concealed carry, while also completing the necessary steps to receive a permit,” Warner said.

Those wanting to obtain or renew a permit should bring valid photo identification and $20 in cash.

Advance registration is required to attend this event. Please call Warner’s office at 724-437-1105 or visit RepWarner.com.
