Warner to Hold Concealed Weapons Seminar
9/26/2017
LEMONT FURNACE – Rep. Ryan Warner (R-Fayette/Westmoreland) has announced he is holding a second seminar this year to give residents an opportunity to learn about Pennsylvania’s concealed carry laws and the Castle Doctrine.

The seminar will be held on Saturday, Oct. 7, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Connellsville Sportsman Association, 2490 Moyer Road, Connellsville. Scheduled speakers include local attorney Ed Bilik, Kim Stolfer of Firearm Owners Against Crime and Fayette County Sheriff James Custer.

“This event will vary slightly from my prior seminar as firearms safety instruction also will be offered,” Warner said. “There are some misconceptions about Pennsylvania’s concealed carry laws, and this seminar is to give people the facts.”

A vendor will be on site selling refreshments. The Fayette County Mobile Unit also will be available to issue new and renew gun permits to Fayette County residents. Valid photo identification and $20 in cash or check are required.

The event is free, but space is limited. Residents should RSVP by calling Warner’s office at 724-437-1105 or via his website at RepWarner.com.

The 52nd Legislative District includes the city of Connellsville; Dawson, Dunbar, Everson, Perryopolis, Seven Springs, South Connellsville and Vanderbilt boroughs; Bullskin, Connellsville, Dunbar, Lower Tyrone, Menallen, North Union, Perry, Saltlick and Upper Tyrone townships in Fayette County, along with Scottdale Borough, and part of East Huntingdon Township in Westmoreland County.
