LEMONT FURNACE – Rep. Ryan Warner (R-Fayette/Westmoreland) invites current concealed carry permit holders and those interested in getting a concealed carry permit to attend his Concealed Carry Seminar next month.

“This seminar is an educational opportunity that will allow residents to learn more about Pennsylvania’s concealed carry laws and how the state’s Castle Doctrine affects their rights as gun owners,” said Warner.

The event will take place on Thursday, Sept. 6, at the Fay-Penn Business Event Center (1040 Eberly Way, Suite 151, Lemont Furnace), and will run from 6-8 p.m.

This seminar includes presentations focusing on the important aspects of the Second Amendment and gun owner rights. Speakers include James Custer, Fayette County sheriff; Attorney Ed Bilik; and Kim Stolfer, Firearm Owners Against Crime.

Fayette County Mobile Unit will also be on site to issue new and renewal gun permits to Fayette County residents. Valid photo ID and $20 cash or check required.

Registration for this seminar is required. Those who wish to attend can register online at or contact Warner’s district office at 724-437-1105.
