Warner to Host Seniors for Safe Driving Seminar
May 3, 2017
LEMONT FURNACE – Rep. Ryan Warner (R-Fayette/Westmoreland) will host a Seniors for Safe Driving Seminar on Friday, June 2, from 1-5 p.m. at the Connellsville Senior Center, 100 E. Fayette St., Connellsville.
“This is a nice refresher course on driving skills,” Warner said. “Driving defensively and properly saves the lives and prevents injuries. In addition, this seminar allows seniors ages 55 and older to receive a certificate for a minimum of 5 percent off their auto insurance coverage for three years.”
During the seminar, a safe driving instructor will discuss a variety of topics, including communicating with other drivers, risk management, airbags, sharing the road, road signs, signals and pavement markings. The cost is $16 per attendee.
RSVPs are required to attend. To RSVP or to learn more, please call Warner’s district office at 724-437-1105 by Friday, May 26.
