Reps. Dowling, Cook and Warner to Host Drive-In Veterans’ Recognition Ceremony

WHAT: A Drive-In Veterans’ Recognition Ceremony that will honor local veterans while allowing for safe social distancing. Attendees will tune their radios to 87.9 FM so they can hear the ceremony from their vehicles.

WHO: Reps. Matt Dowling (R-Fayette/Somerset), Bud Cook (R-Washington/Fayette) and Ryan Warner (R-Fayette/Westmoreland). AMVETS Post 103; veteran and Fayette County Sheriff James Custer; Mark Steele of American Legion Post 51; Rob Doria, American Legion County Commander; and Kristen Antolini, musical director of the Roman Catholic Churches of Uniontown.

WHEN: Saturday, Aug. 22, at noon. Check-in will begin at 10:45 a.m.

WHERE: Uniontown Mall, 1368 Mall Run Road, Uniontown.
