CONNELLSVILLE – Rep. Ryan Warner (R-Fayette) is inviting local government leaders and nonprofit groups to a Funding Resource Seminar on Friday, Oct. 13, at the Connellsville Township Fire Hall.

“This is a great opportunity for our local governments and other organizations to learn about funding opportunities available to help them continue their mission of service to our communities,” Warner said. “I encourage all who are able to join us.”

The seminar is open to townships, municipalities, volunteer fire departments, nonprofits and 501(c)(3) organizations in the 52nd Legislative District.

It is offered in coordination with a variety of state and local agencies, including, but not limited to, the state departments of Community and Economic Development, Conservation and Natural Resources, and Environmental Protection, as well as PennDOT, the PA Historical and Museum Commission, Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program, Fayette County Redevelopment, and Pennsylvania Association of Township Supervisors.

Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m., with the seminar to follow at noon. The fire hall is located at 905 Fireman St., Connellsville.

The 52nd Legislative District includes the following Fayette County communities: city of Connellsville; Brownsville, Bullskin, Connellsville, Dunbar, Franklin, Jefferson, Lower Tyrone, Luzerne, Perry, Redstone, Saltlick, Springfield, Stewart, Upper Tyrone and Washington townships; and Belle Vernon, Brownsville, Dawson, Dunbar, Everson, Fayette City, Newell, Ohiopyle, Perryopolis, Seven Springs (Fayette County Portion), South Connellsville and Vanderbilt boroughs.
