Warner to Unveil Signs on State Route 51 Recognizing Perryopolis Officer Champion

WHAT: Rep. Ryan Warner (R-Fayette/Westmoreland) spearheaded language added to Act 159 of 2016 that designates a portion of State Route 51 as the Officer Richard Champion Memorial Highway. Signs marking the area will be unveiled by Warner, alongside Champion’s family and the Perryopolis police department. Champion, a Perryopolis police officer, died in the line of duty on Dec. 14, 2014, while pursuing another vehicle on State Route 51 in Perry Township, Fayette County.

Warner to Host Seniors for Safe Driving Seminar
